Oversee the management of 6 to 10
mid-scale construction projects (residential buildings, commercial buildings,
warehouses, and factories), ensuring all are completed on time, within budget,
and to the required quality standards.
Act as the primary point of
contact between the Projects Director and the responsible person for each
project (Project Manager, Construction Manager, Project Engineer, or Site
Engineer, depending on the project size).
Develop, monitor, and adjust
project schedules, ensuring adherence to planned milestones and deadlines.
Allocate resources, including
workforce, equipment, and materials, ensuring optimal utilization and
minimizing waste.
Supervise and lead all on-site
personnel, including subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety regulations,
quality standards, and project timelines.
Implement and enforce quality
control procedures, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with project
specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
Track project costs and budgets
in collaboration with the Quantity Surveyor, ensuring efficient resource
consumption and cost optimization.
Ensure all materials,
requisitions, and site resources are approved and delivered on time in
coordination with office departments, preventing delays and ensuring budget
adherence.
Enforce and oversee safety
protocols, ensuring strict compliance with company policies and legal
regulations.
Manage site logistics, including
housekeeping, security, stock control, and overall site organization.
Maintain open and effective
communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders,
ensuring smooth project execution.
Facilitate and lead regular
project meetings, addressing progress, challenges, and coordination needs.
Prepare and submit detailed
project reports, covering progress updates, budget status, safety summaries,
and any required documentation.
Address and resolve
project-related challenges efficiently, ensuring smooth operations and
problem-solving on-site.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil
Engineering.
10+ years of proven experience managing
multiple mid-scale construction projects simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of construction
methods, building codes, and industry regulations.
Exceptional leadership skills,
with the ability to supervise and coordinate diverse teams effectively.
Solid understanding of project
planning, scheduling, and execution.
Strong financial acumen, with
experience in cost control, budget monitoring, and resource allocation.
Excellent communication skills to
interact with multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and
internal teams.
Fluent in English (spoken and
written).
Hands-on approach to
problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced construction environment.
Proficiency in project management
tools and reporting systems is a plus.
